WHY IS ARC S UK SIM FREE STILL NOT UPDATED TO ICS 4.0.4?

I HAVE BEEN WAITING VERY PAITENTLY FOR THE UPDATE, BUT IT IS ALMOST 2 MONTHS SINCE THE 4.0.4 UPDATE AND STILL SI NUMBER 1254-1957 IS NOT OUT YET? WHY SONY?

IS UK GENERIC KIT NOT GOING TO GET UPDATED EVER?

PLEASE DO NOT JUST QUOTE THE URL FOR THE SI NUMBER THREAD, IT IS NOT THERE AND THE UPDATE IS NOT AVAILABLE VIA PC COMPANION OR UPDATE SERVICE.

PLEASE CAN MARKUS OR JOHAN ANSWER ME ON THIS.

Sorry if you misunderstood my comments to be a personal attack on you and I didn't say you were Sony.

But my point was that it is clear in this thread the point that is being made, which is that Sony still has not released ICS 4.0.4 for UK SIM FREE.

And surely the Sony support guys on here should have done sort of an explanation or way of finding out?

I am from the Netherlands, and I also want to comment that there still is no  4.0.4 update for Arc S With SI 1254-3278 I own.

When is this going to be released?

I personally am hoping for an update to 4.0.4 that will not invalidate my warranty.

I am unaware at the moment as to wether my phone is unstable due to 4.0.3 or if its a hardware fault.

As such updating to 4.0.4 via flashtool etc and discovering its a hardware fault (After just invalidating my warranty) would leave me up the creek minus a paddle.

So I am still in hope of an official non warranty killing solution.

are you certain that it is indeed SIM Free? it's quite simple to find out

As far as usage I have used multiple sim's in UK and out of UK.

Mine is pretty much a carbon copy of those screenshots that ruwsoft has kindly posted.

Only difference is that I have Phone Software version

1258-8238_4.1.A.0.562

I'll see if I can work out how to contact Sony

Yes version is different as I am running GB these days. Tried out 4.0.3 and downgraded to GB using wotanserver. (did the root @ .42 and OTA to .62 and few mods including some cosmetic ones using the ICS system files)

I have been thinking of upgrading to Central Europe 1 firmware using wotanserver as I would like to see if 4.0.4 has any real improvements over 4.0.3 but being waiting forever for Sony for the UK fw (plus bit lazy to backup my current setup/mods to return to GB if new ICS also fails to impress me)

I also have the same issue, stuck on 4.0.3 and have the same SI number

SI #: 1254-1957

Checked the sim lock same as above screen shot.  Only real difference is my firmware is 4.1.A.0.562 which is the latest 4.0.3

Will we have a 4.0.4 update?
