Hi,

I have unlocked arc s 1254-1957 and yes, we are still waiting for the update.

THIS IS RIDICULOUS!

How long should we waiting for the update?

What's the problem?

I'm not able to understand it...

Dear Sony, please give us an explanation!

Honestly, this is getting stupid. Maybe it's time to flash to a generic world ROM.

I too have been having random lock ups and freezes since I updated to 4.0.3 and have been waiting for 4.0.4 in the hope that'll fix some of my phones stability problems.

My only other recourse might be claiming on the warranty to have the phone rolled back to 2.3.4

At least that worked. Wish I never upgraded. Slightly_frowning_Face

Pretty please release 4.0.4 for 1254-1957.

The other disappointing thing is that there is no answer from the support guys on this forum. You Should be releasing this update, why haven't you?

I made a thread that might help you:

BTW, it may seem very daunting to novices at first but you have to trust me when I say it is quite easy

Hi,

First I can't seem to view that page, something about unauthorized to view.

Secondly, I'm assuming it's some sort of guide to debranding to a different region/or generic world kit?

If so I appreciate your help but I know how to do this, but we shouldn't have to do this, this is something that Sony are supposed to provide us by AUTOMATIC update via their update service.

STILL NO REPLY FROM SONY SUPPORT!

Sorry to be rude, but please do learn to read!

We are all UK SIM FREE! On 1254-1957. It's you SONY to release and its a FACT that they have not yet released it.  So please everyone stop with the patronising posts as if we are stupidly complaining unnecessarily. RATHER THAN THAT WE WOULD LIKE YOUR SUPPORT TO PRESSURE SONY TO RELEASE IT AND/OR THE SUPPORT GUYS ON THIS FORUM TO ACTUALLY EXPLAIN WHY IT'S STILL NOT RELEASED.
