ringtone for the group of contacts

Please help.  How can I set different ringtones for different groups of contacts (family, coworkers, etc)??? (Sony Xperia ZR)  

I can set individual ringtone for each contact. In case of setting ringtone to the group of contacts it doesn't work right - the ringtone still is the standart one, which was set in the general settings. Please help, I would be very thankful!!

Just to clarify, how have you set a ringtone for the group? Did you go into contacts > group > press a group > edit > press the ringtone option and change the ringtone? 

Is it  local contacts or have you synced your contacts to your Google account?

Yes, just as You say 

contacts > group > press a group > edit >  and the second row allows to choose ringtone (the first row-the name of group) and also here I can see button "add members", nothing more

I tried it in both ways, as local contacts and as synchronized to Google accounts. It doesn't work anyway =(

I discover the same issue with my 3 weeks old Xperia Z. It's also a very usefull feature for me.

Does someone has a solution for this?

Can we please get a confirmation if this bug has been posted for correction. Please fix this problem or give us a work around.

The workaround is named the app DW Contacts & Dialer.
If course, there are other similar that works as well. But stock does not work...

Thanks Goateye! But we should not have to use another app altogether for a bug like this! It's a very basic feature and a very apparent defect in almost all the Xperia versions it seems! Sony please correct this bug! Please confirm if the issue is reported to the Dev team!
