Hi everyone,
I got a Sony XPeria P a few days back.Everything was going fine for the first few days until all of a sudden i started experiencing problems charging my phone.
I started receiving the following error message - "USB devices disabled error".On clicking it i get the following pop-up "Power consumption by connected devices is increased, therefore, all of them have been disabled. Please disconnect them and try reconnecting". I get this message even when i try charging it thorugh the plug point. At times the charging symbol appears at the top right side but the red LED light for charging does not come on meaning the phone is not actually being charged. Am clueless about what to do as i am currently in a location where there is no Sony service centres around.
Anyone else faced these kind of problems? Please help!!
Regards,
Thunderbird91
Are you using the original charger etc with the phone?

Yes, am using the original charger Sam.
I have tried the factory reset too. It did not help. I still keep getting the same error.
Hey
Same thing happened to my phone today...How to get it sorted?
Try a software repair,it is the only option. It could be a faulty software that sees not existing problems.
Try washing the charging port with lemon juice dipped cotton and let it dry for sometime wash both the port the phone one and the charger one ... I just faced the same problem I tried one of this old trick and it worked no more error and Its charging perfectly now..
