problems with adding google acc can't get wifi to work

Hey

I'm having trouble with wifi and trying to add my google to the accounts list. I was having trouble with play store and so I removed the google account from list and now I can't get it back. keeps going to wifi and not allowing me to sign in. I have recently done a software update and now having nothing but problems. I'm very frustrated.

try

setting>apps>all>google play

clear cache and data...force stop and reboot phone...then remove your google account and add it once more time

Hi,

If the Wi-Fi list opens, it sounds like you do not have any internet access. What happens if you try to connect to a Wi-Fi network? Or have you tried to connect to the mobile network from your operator?

I have internet access as I can access facebook and other non google apps, I was having trouble accessing google so I removed it from my accounts under setting and now i'm trying to add it but it keeps giving me 2 options new or existing accounts with google, I have an existing account so after selecting that it sends me to search for wifi which it can't find. I have all the info downloaded from provider.

I was thinking of doing a repair through xperia care to see if that would help or even resetting the whole phone but I'm worried I'll lose everything

if you want to perform software repair do it by SUS

also look here for how to backup your thing

I still can't get it to work. I have access to all non google apps. everytime I select existing account it sends me to wifi and does not let me sign in. I'd also like to add it to my accounts under setting but can't

Are you using Wi-Fi at the moment or mobile network? If you only have tried via Wi-Fi, I suggest that you try from the mobile network to see if you experience the same issue. If possible, you can also try another SIM-card from another network provider.

Also make sure that you do not have any proxy/port under Settings > More > Mobile networks > Access Point Names-> [your internet settings].
