battery problem

my XU had gingerbread on it
even then it consumes a lot of battery
i have to charge it almost thrice to four times a day
even in the night, on standby, it consumes 25 to 30 of the battery which i check the next day mornin
can anyone suggest me some solution for it
maybe some app or anythin which will help
and if i upgrade to ICS then will it solve the problem by Sony's Extended Standby Mode ???

Guys, battery draining isn't caused by OS, but by running apps. Reinstalling of ICS doesn't solve this problem, if there is running what is running (integrated OS-apps or any custom app(s))

reinstalling will help any driver glitches if there, but nothing more. try to remove bloatware or disable them.

Hi

It is very clear that battery drained because of phone signal......

For any mobile if netwok is not available it keep on searching for mobile network it results in huge battery consumption.

What to do

1. charge 100%

2. Be in area where signal is strong

If still battery drains then u have to check for another solution.
