Hey guys this phone is amazing and is working fine, however ever since I got it my WiFi has had an exclamation mark next to it all the time, whether I'm hooked onto my home network, or my work network. The wireless works perfectly fine, extremely fast etc. However it's just a little annoyance as the exclamation mark is always there, even when mobile data is disabled?
Any help?

A solution that worked for me, I connected to my home router and changed its DNS servers to be Google's DNS servers (8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4) instead of getting them automatically from the ISP.
For completeness:
My situation was that I had the exclamation mark (even when scanning) and had no Internet. My laptop was connected to the Internet without a problem.
My phone is D5503
Android version is 5.1.1
Sorry to hear that.
Could you elaborate on what happens a bit more in detail? Do you always see the exclamation mark when you use WiFi? Does it happen with a specific network or is it any network you connect to?

For instance: the two networks I use more frequently are my home's and my work's and they are both saved in my Z3+, but everytime I arrive here or there the exclamation mark appears beside the wifi signal, which doesn't work.
Sometimes - only after a few minutes - the exclamation marks disappears by itself or the smartphone changes automatically its connection to 4G, but much more frequently I have to turn the wifi off manually and choose between turning it on and off a few times hoping to force the connection or simply giving up and start using the 4G - this way my phone bill has increased a lot since I bought the Z3+.
I have already asked to my work's IT staff to set properly the wifi connection and changed my home router settings several times, but the problem remains. At home the Z3+ is frequently aside and I'm mostly using my old Samsung S4.
Thanks in advance.

My phone and Laptop is also showing this exclamation mark and there is no internet connnectivity. The internet works fine when i attach the LAN cord to my Laptop. which means there is a problem in the WIFi Modem. The WIFI modem glows all the required lights. any help ?
Do you have Stamina enabled under Settings -> Power management? If so, could you try to turn it off and see if that helps.
You may see an exclamation mark on the WiFi icon just after the phone has got a connection. The phone will display the exclamation mark until it got a contact with Google servers. Then the exclamation mark will be removed.
As you also see this on your PC it sounds like the cause in your case is the router/modem.
We have some suggestions on what you can check in this thread: http://talk.sonymobile.com/t5/FAQ/Wi-Fi-problems/m-p/348104
If these doesn't help i recommend that you contact the support for your modem/router instead. How you configure it will depend on brand and mode so i'm afraid it's hard for us to say how you can solve this.
DNS1 and DNS2 are usually specific for you internet service provider so normallt you get these by contacting your internet provider. But you can also try using a public DNS like Googles: https://developers.google.com/speed/public-dns/
It's however not certain that you can use another DNS than your internet providers.
