viewing videos on pc

Hi I just got an Xperia Z2, shot videos in normal mode, 4k and Timeshift. I can see them perfectly on the phone but when I transfer them to my PC they are very low quality, pixelled and unnatural.

I tried QuickTime, MPC-HC (x64) and VLC Media Player.

I have a quite new Lenovo Icore5 with Windows 8.1 (I use it in Desktop mode).

Can anyone please help me?

I bought this cellphone especially for it's camera and video!!!!

Tank you very much for your Help. I guess the automatic updates have solved the problem as now I can see the videos but I haven't done anything!

4K videos will be seen as HD,nothing more.I am wondering if you have the right codecs to play them.

Can you please advise which method you are using to move the videos across to the PC?

what if you transfer the files directly

computer > Xperia Z2 > internal storage > copy / paste or drag the file to your computer

Please also ensure that you have the latest version of the Players you are using on your PC as many of them have only added 4K support this year.
