Hi,
I have a brand new Sony Xperia Z5 Compact,
when I make/receive calls, the person at the other end has an echo from my phone.
THIS is not the case using a bluetooth device to make the calls with.
Please advice what to do ?
Infomation about the phone :
Modelnumber : E5823
Android version : 5.1.1
Kernelsystem : 3.10.49-perf-g83fc9bc
Versionnumber : 32.0.A.6.152
Best regards
Jan
I have a brand new Z5C and I feel really disappointed to see I have the same issue you all have. I've tried everything and the only way to speak properly is by connecting the headphones. I can't believe Sony is not able to solve the issue or, at least, to know where the error comes from. I was looking forward to having this device and now I only feel frustrated. Sony please....
Hi, I was irritated as well. Did not found a workaround at the internet. So I claimed it back, now my phone came back from service centre repaired. They changed a defective part, a microphone. I tested it with my friends and seems like, the echo is gone.
My phone: Sony Z5 compact
bought 2.12.2015
baseband version 8994-FAAAANAZQ-00029-19
Build number 32.0.A.6.200
I have also sent my mobile to be repaired. No news so far. I hope I have a bit of luck with the repair and recover my ZC5.
Sorry to hear that.
Please make sure that you have the firmware update i mentioned earlier.
If you or the counterpart still experience echo after updating to this version i recommend that you contact a service centre or your Local support to have this checked.
My girlfriend got a Z5C today. It has the same echo problem (newest firmware).
