Phone hangs/Lagging after Updating to Nougat

My phone constantly hang/lags since installing Nougat. Even doing basic function as making a call or going to Settings, takes sometime like more than 20 seconds.

Other application such as Whatsapp etc also lags.

I have ample storage space in internal storage - more than 5GB.

I bought this phone and i expecting best functions for about at least 3 years

All things was great but when you realeased this bug* version of android 7 to my phone i expecting you to solve this problems.

I have 2 most raspy problems

1: log toooooo much in playing 720p and 1080 p video in video app i remmeber my second phone (htc desire 300) it was beter than this s sony flag ship in playing video 😂😂

2: lag tooooo much in call log

If a big companey like sony can not solve this problems so i will never buy a phone from Sony again

I am big fan of you i have sony from x8(soby ericson) since now

I am having the same issue and it is disgusting. 

My phone is overheating often and lagging - battery drain is rediculous also. 

It only works smoothly after  restarting and that lasts abou 10 minutes.

I already tried a software repair using the PC Companion - don't bother with it.

I could not figure how to boot with Safe Mode because the instructions do not work so I deleted all third party apps - same problem

I have the F8382 Dual Sim Model and my Storage Usage is at 32% - many reports suggest that the problem seems to be with this model in particular

There is clearly something operating in the background that is eating up resources. 

We need a fix for this asap because this issue has been reported by masses only after updating to Nougat. If it cannot be fixed, please allow us the option to safely Downgrade to Marshmallow. We did not spend our monies for a Premium "Flagship" device to experience such issues. My US$50 Blu Smartphone is currently working better than my Xperia at the moment.

Has absolutely killed my phone, NFC full alert appearing constantly, apps not opening, apps not responding, phone blacking out and rebooting and battery draining not lasting 8 hours from full charge snd no use.

Hello,

I'm experiencing some issues after the last update! For instance, I got an "unknown problem" using the camera one time, very strange message don't think? I often have lags, opening apps, using apps and  using camera.

The only thing I see going better is the battery life.

I hope to see an update to fix these very annoying problems, because now I don't feel I have my Z5, but an old bad phone.
