This is a quick and easy guide how to enable native 4K all the time on your sony xperia xz premium !
no need to put the phone in constant 4K...
In my opinion changing density to 300 dpi is super fun and gives you plenty of space on homescreen...
Tested and confirmed working with all apps.
I've done it yesterday and reverted back to default settings. Dialer app crashed when receive and make calls which was super annoying.
As far as I know, this is one of the drawbacks of doing it. The only way to keep using phone is to install third party apps. Also, there're noticable lag and stutters especially on the animation when opening apps.
Do other people also experience this? Any tips? I really love setting the native resolution to 4K, it doesn't even affect battery life that much from my observation.
I've obeserved some lag in the animations, especially in the scrolling of launcher, but my games ran fine
Sorry, wrong thread.
The older versions of the Google Phone app seem to work okay, at least so far for me. The stock phone app does constantly stop with 4K enabled. I have not encountered other issues, yet.
I would like to use Google phone to but it is not compatible with XZP. I'm not convinced to get 3rd party apps.
