Xperia T does not start

Hello,

can anybody help me, please? My phone, a Xperia T, approx 6 weeks old and up to now in daily operation.

Last evenig I turned it off as and connected the charger, as usual.

Now, this mornig, the phone does not turn on.

When pressing "on", only the red LED is being displayed; same whne pressing "on" and "volume+".

After again 2 hrs conected to charger, no change.

Any ideas?

I'm sorry to hear. Check if you can get connection with the phone using SUS and reinstall the phone software.

If not, I suggest that you contact your local support team, to have the phone examined and fixed at an repair center.

Hallo herzausgold!

Geht dein phone wieder? Wenn ja, was hat geholfen? Ich habe das Problem jetzt schon zum 2. Mal. SUS hat nicht funktioniert. Werde wohl Handy erneut einsenden müssen.

how about if you connect your phone to the wall charger > then press and hold power & volume up for 10 seconds > let it charge for 2 hours and then try to turn it on

Does your phone again? If so, what helped? I have the problem now for the 2 Time SBS did not work. Will probably have to send in mobile again.

Update:

I was bringing the phone back to retailer and was sending it to service.

Now, I'm waiting to get it fixed by service.

Question: How can this behaviour of the phone be avoided in future? Any idea?

Remark: In Germany, the custumer can ask to get the money back if retailer/vendor cannot fix the problem after 2 attempts. I certainly will do that, in the case if....

Actually, I'm so sad about the quality of the device. Poor Sony !
