Most of the rivals of Sony are offering full messaging window.Which will be very useful while writing big messages. But writing big messages on Sony xperia P small messaging window is just irritating. Is there any chances that Sony will expand their useless messaging window after jellybean update?
Sony persons please reply.Otherwise this gonna be my first & last Sony phone.
Use other apps that can be downloaded on playstore, and try rotating your phone to have a full view on your message
Which app will let me use full messaging window?Rotating phone only widen messaging window & not expand like highlighted in red area.(Sony please respond to my question.)
I agree with florenzgonzales, you should check the play store for a messaging app that allow you to customize this.
Most of the messaging apps in play store run with wifi & i have plenty of apps installed on my phone which require internet to send messages.I have even downloaded go sms pro from play store but when i have imported big message from my phone to go sms pro i was shocked to see that even this app has small messaging window like stock one.I think it's a system problem which can only be solved by sony in their next firmware update. But they are not interested in doing so.
Ok then if you dont mind, why do you want a wide messaging app? Even iphone has an exact messaging style for text. If you want you can also make text larger so that you can see text more clearer
not all messaging apps require wifi, check
Handcent

Problem is not with text size.If my message is having 12 lines i can hardly see 3 lines due to small messaging window & i have to scroll down to see rest of the lines. If messaging window is big enough i can easily see all 12 lines without any need to scroll up & down.Which will be much easier to all Xperia users.
Even Handcent app has the same small messaging window like rest of the apps.I think i will stick with the small messaging window till i have this phone.
Did you had this feature on your last phone? If so, what phone was it? If you type a lot, I will suggest that you use your pc to send sms, myphoneexplorer, Google voice are good options.
