Screen Orientation and Data Traffic Issues

Hi,

I bought Xperis SL on jan 2013, at that time While charging I was able to rotate the homescreen by tilting. But now I am not able to do that, feel a lil bit inconvinient and awkward. Strangley, before two weeks ago I was able to rotate the home screen and menu even when Im not charging (which was pretty much awsome and user friendly when lying down ans scrolling through homescreen and menu). But now, no orientation for menu and home screen. Could you please tell me what is happening? Is there any way to activate home screen and menu screen rotation (landscape)?.

And Also I am having issues with data traffic. Some time  even if the data traffic is on, The "E" symbol goes off and I will not be able to connect to internet. Sometimes I have to turn it on and off, on and off for several times to get the connection back, which is very much frustrating. Thought it was a problem with connection, but even when I changed the connection still there is a mild problem persists. What could be the cause?

The homescreen is only supposed to rotate when the phone is connected to a docking station. In earlier versions of the software it would sometimes rotate when not docked. You could try uninstalling updates for Smart Connect but if you want the homescreen to rotate i would recommend installing another launcher instead like Nova Launcher.

Have you checked with your operator so that dropped connection is not a network problem? I also recommend that you try another SIM-card for this problem.

I too get the data traffic problem [and seem to recall posting about this issue a while ago], switching data off and on again seems to resolve it.

It's not an operator issue as my partner is on the same network and never experiences this problem...
