I have experienced exactly the same problem. Would be interested in knowing if this is a widespread problem and what is the cause / solution.

To sole the exchange issue ,open your mail app, go into settings>cick on your email and scroll down to server settings >incoming settings make sure domain name starts with \e********@hotmail.com, server should be dub402-m.hotmail.com, tick the box use secure connection(SSL) and accept all SSL certificates and port to be 443. Should be working now.cheers

What server and version are you connecting to? Is it a Microsoft Exchange server or something else?
