Hi. I have installed 32.0.A.6.200 firmware on my Xperia Z5 Compact for 3-4 weeks (since I bought it) but today update centre offerwme the same update (32.0.A.6.200) with 28,9 MB of size. Why the same build number? What is the changelog?
I can see that there is still the 'issue' that the APN's are back to default, so if your carrier / company are using their own APN to secure the mail synchronization you need to recreate this APN after the Software update 😞
Hello also got 32.0.A.6.200 update today at 7 time here in Sweden
Same here, got it yesterday or something (In Sweden too) 🙂
I also got this update and as a result my phone cannot access the mobile network at all, it gets hot very fast and restarts itself. also the buttery drains very very fast (about 30% in 1 hour)...
What is going on??
You might receive a software update on your phone with the same version number as the one you currently have installed. The software update that you receive has version number 32.0.A.6.200. This software version has minor configurations and quality improvements specific to the configuration and not to the software itself. This is why the revision number has not been changed.
An example of what might be set by the configuration is what @RuneJ mentioned.
Hi guys,
I also got 32.0.A.6.200 on my Z5 few days ago (I'm in Sweden) and since then battery drains much much faster then before. I use the phone in the same way and did not install new apps since the update. I use the phone for about 3 months and never had battery issues until now.
I had 100% this morning around 12am and right now after barely 8 hours I have 59% with ... STAMINA ON since 12am (!) ... crazy. Do you experience the same?
Hi there,
I also experience that the phone is draining quicker than before the last 'update' 😞
I'm not using Stamnia mode.
Thanks Droopy. It seems I am not the only one...
Just for info. Yesterday I repaired the phone via PC Companion so the firmware has been installed from scratch and I restored my backup data. The interesting part was that after all of that I had approx 50% of battery left and Z5 showed me that it should last approx 1 day and 13 hours - which is a very good result. So I thought that finally (!) it's been solved some way.
My happiness did not last long as the battery decreased a lot during night (approx 20% on a newly installed software without any 3rd party apps).
So this morning at 10am I charged my Z5 to 100% and it shows it should last for 23 hours (!). Totally unnaceptable.
I think I will try to do a factory reset tonight...
PS. And I switched from iPhone to Android to have better battery life..... no comment.
Cheers
Sly
