SONY XPERIA U TOUCH SCREEN PROBLEM

My 3 weeks old sony xperia u has started to lag a bit

and the touch screen has lost responsiveness!!

typing is very difficult now

please help!!

Could be touchscreen hardware issue or calibration problem.I recommend taking the phone to a sony center.

My touchscreen touch itself on my Xperia U at the lefted display keyboard letters(zxsferfc) no hard reset fixes this problem! What should i do?

Visit a nearby sony center for further investigation.

IM afraid there's nothing you can do.

The xperia u is a budget device and they cheaped out on the touch screen.

If your phone is rooted you can try this technique, I've done it and has help a bit.

Sony devices are not seriously to buy for long time.. I thing you should buy Google nexus or iPhone for better hardware and performance my Xperia U stucks like when installed many apps plus the touch screen can't type a,q,w,s,z,e and d and 101% hardware problem even when it's stucks its a Ram of 512. Hardware problem, this is my third phone from Sony!,

That is not necessarily true,every device has their problems.Just go to a samsung or htc or any other support site and see the kind of problems they encounter,you will not blame sony so much.

I solved my problem with the touch screen.

I've changed the touch screen. I've bought one on Ebay for 20 bucks. I've spent ten minutes reading how to do it and watching a video tutorial. Ten minutes later my Xperia U was OK. I've changed the touch screen, very easy to do.

It's very simple, and I haven't done any calibration after the installation.

my sony xperia u has touch problem.. my frnd say 2 me re calibrate ur touch screenn. then im download this app.. (TouchFWTools.apk) bt i cant install this 2 my mobile,,  sobody know how to fix this .. pls help me

I use Xperia U and 2/3 of the screen now doesn't respond to touches.... >_<
