Some problems with android 4.0.4......

I updated my SE Live With Walkman yesterday to android 4(ics),but am not satisfied at all...

When i had the gingerbread version in it,the font graphics were quite clear and bright but in android 4,the font graphics are not up to the mark while the brightness is low.......Secondly,in the previous android version, the facebook app was running fine and it had the same UI as the computer version but now the facebook app is misbehaving,the chat function is not working and also when you go to ur own profile,it appears as if u have logged on to the basic mobile version,i tried to fix it by reinstalling and update but it is of no use......Lastly,the walkman music player which is so beautiful as it adapts some of the colors of the album are is also not functioning well,now after the update,the album art is not visible and the basic grey color is observed.....but when playing that same song on the other fone,or the same sony LWW(but with gingerbread),it shows the album art which clearly proves that there is some major problem with update.....

Now can anyone please tell me how to fix it......so that i can get my masterpiece back in good shape and form.....????

You could try to repair or reinstall the phone software via PC Companion or Update Service.

after update i repaired my software and while it seems to run more smoothly the laggy camera and worse picture quality remains ; <</p>

Please oh please fix this, the rest of the bugs i can live with but this one is just to much.

Hi Johan,

i updated my LWW but some problems still exist like the facebook app misbehaviour,the low brightness as compared to the gingerbread and the resolution degradation.......... But yes after repairing the problem with the walkman player resolved and is now working fine..........but would eagerly wait for a patch which can correct all these problems as every sony ericsson user who has updated his fone to ICS is facing some of the common problems as previously mentioned........

guys  in your phones games are working ? like asphalt 6,shadowgun,samurai vengeance 2,plants vs zombies,etc..... those games are not woking in my LWW phone? any fix?

Hi Ajit,

So after all this and based on performance of ur ICS on LWW, would you recommend upgradation to ICS for other users who are still on GB and worried about ICS issues?

Hi Dexter,

In my opinion,consumers who have not upgraded there fone to ICS must wait for this new version to get stabilised in the market so that the developers can get some time to fix minor bugs that are creating hassles for the current ICS users........
