Performance problems with Xperia U ICS update

I am facing problems with my phone. The processor is busy most of the time unless I free it up with Advanced Task Killer. At times,I cannot even answer calls as the phone is busy and the Answer/Reject options take time to appear on the screen.:smileyangry:

Apps and games that worked faster onGingerbread 2.3 became very slow after I upgraded it to 4.0.

Is there any update/tweak I can do to rectify this??? Help please:smileysad:

Try a software repair via PC software.

I repaired via SUS and the phone still doesn't deliver the same performance GB did.

We need an optimized update!

Some users said it was laggy in the first days, then it became smooth.

I am still on GB, waiting for my official update (Orange Romania, 1262-0710 Si if i recall correctly), i do not want to flash the french fw.

The only thing i can try is repair with PC Companion instead on SUS, but i tried different things and the result was always the same. I don't think it's smooth as GB.

Also using another launcher helps. like Apex or Nova or LauncherPro.

Using the update procedure you mentioned, things improved but still i find GB faster than ICS.

That's why i think the firmware needs some optimization.
