not connecting with mac

My new Xperia ray does not get connected with Mac, tryed everything from the connection guide so far with no luck!!

It has already android 4.0 and my mac has Sony Bridge.

I have a similar prob - I have a thread on here already, stick your system specs on it and lets try and produce a united front. Sony Bridge is borderline unusuable at times
