Accepting Calls - Bug?!

I upgraded to ICS and am, as a whole, pleased with it. However, one thing that is really putting a dampner on it is a possible bug I experience when accepting calls. The phone will ring, but the contact and the slider wont show up, the screen flickers and even the ringtone 'flickers'. I often miss calls trying to slide the non-existent slider. I have repaired the phone twice, but it still hasn't solved the issue.

Any advice?

Could be due to 3rd party apps.

Try uninstalling all (such as task killers, antivirus, juice defenders etc) and see if the problem exists

Also make sure and any screen  guard and mobile case is not interfering with the proximity sensor

Dail *#*#7378423#*#* in dialpad/phonepad > service tests > proximity sensor > it should be off

Touch the sensor and it should be on

Do it several times

Post the results here after you try everything
