Phone Touchscreen not wrking

Hi all,

I recently bought a Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo V (MT11). I locked the screen using the Power button of the phone. I have set a password for unlocking my phone. Now, when i press the "Home" key of the phone, the screen comes alive with keypad for punching-in the password but the touchscreen is not responding so i am not able to punch-in the password. I am getting calls on my cell phone but i cannot receive the calls since I cannot slide the "green" button on screen to right (which is the usual way to receive the calls). Could you guys please help me make my phone screen responsive again. This is a brand new phone, just a couple of days old and no apps installed other than loaded by the Company itself.

Thanks,

Sanket

Hi,

You didn't mention in your post, so I just want to make sure you've removed the battery and replaced it? Performing a full power cycle could be an easy solution.

You might be able to run our update software via the PC Companion application.

I suggest you work quickly and also speak to the seller, to review any warranty conditions that are applicable with them.

You can always call us to discuss warranty process for possible defective devices: http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/support/contact-us/contact-info/
