My Z1 Compact taking more than 3 hours to Charge Completely, Which is almost 2 times it takes on my Xperia ARC.

I don't think it's usual. Please let me know how to overcome it. I am using the original charger

Hi

At the top, I have Screen Process using 55% and then Android System using 8%.

Screen is not an issue while charging as I usually turn off my phone while charging. Also I am not facing any battery drainage issue.

Can it be any hardware failure? shall i visit nearby service Centre regarding overheating and chrging time?

I have tried charging my phone on Safe mode as well, But no help :S

I have the same problem. The phone takes over 3 hours to charge and I think that the battery drains faster than on my wifes z1 compact while using the phone but it seems to be fine in standby mode. Could it be a faulty battery that can't handle higher current well? I have already sent my first phone away to get a new one because the SIM-card reader wasn't working on my first phone. I don't wan't to send my phone away again because of bad quality control from sony.

Please share if your phone will be repaired or if it's something else causing the problem

Hi,
Even I've been experiencing the same problem in my z1 compact for a few months now. I've tried changing the charger, close the background running apps and when I checked the battery usage it didn't show any app using too much of charge, just the normal. And even a visit to the service center didn't help all they did was reset and update my phone.
