My Z1 Compact taking more than 3 hours to Charge Completely

My Z1 Compact taking more than 3 hours to Charge Completely, Which is almost 2 times it takes on my Xperia ARC.

I don't think it's usual. Please let me know how to overcome it. I am using the original charger

Well, it all depends on what's running on the phone. Does it still take 3 hours when the phone is turned off and you charge it?

Thanks for replying.
Even while charging after turning the phone off, it takes almost same time. Hardly a difference of 10 minutes.
Also phone as well as charger gets extremely Heat up while charging.

Have you tried any other chargers to see if the charging time is the same? I can't really tell how many hours my Z1 Compact takes to charge as I plug it in when I go to sleep.

I am using the original charger provided within the box. Though I have other sony chargers, i avoid using them.

Original one should be most compatible 😞

Look at the output of the charger,how many Amps/hour are there?

Also I have noticed that my Charger as well as my mobiles gets heatup while charging.

While charging, Mobile battery Temperature changes from 32 to 41-42 degree in 30 minutes only.

Though i have not faced battery drainage issue but 3 hours for chargin phone is totally unacceptable.

Please provide a workaround or solutionfor this.

That is odd as this indicates something is using a lot of power whilst on charge. If you check the Battery Usage section of Power Management in Settings what are the top couple of applications/processes listed?

What are your thoughts about this forum? Let us know by doing this short survey.
