Well,
As it happened...
I updated to JB last night, and all the sudden, my 32Gb Sandisk Ultra microSD is toasted...
The phone says there is no SD card installed.
The computer says there is no SD card when I connect the card (so I cannot format or get the information I had there)
I tried to reinstall JB, fixed nothing.
I quit the Sd Cad and put it back to the phone, fixed nothing.
I reboot the phone with power + sound, fixed nothing.
It never had any trouble before, and after this update, looks like the phone totally toasted the card.
So... any idea about what can I do?...
I assume that thanks to the phone, I will have to spend buying a new one, but at least I'd like to get the information I had there.
Thx
I bought just a cheap one in a shop, not by internet.
I paid 10€ for a 16Gb class 10.
If you wish to buy by internet, I bought lots of things in Amazon. To me it's the best of the best.
By now, the T it's not worth to buy any good card.
Tests have now been made with several of the cards mentioned in this thread and also using several different Xperia T/TX devices. We have not been able to locate any issue from the phone side causing the cards to go corrupt or broken. But to be able to investigate this closer both your phone and SD card will need to be examined at a local repair center. I suggest that you contact your local support team for more information about local repair center.

Johan,
My Xperia T has now completely killed two SD cards: see http://talk.sonymobile.com/message/443136#443136
Both took about 6 weeks to die.
I am reluctant to go to a repair centre as reading other threads suggests I could be without a phone for months.
