Well,
As it happened...
I updated to JB last night, and all the sudden, my 32Gb Sandisk Ultra microSD is toasted...
The phone says there is no SD card installed.
The computer says there is no SD card when I connect the card (so I cannot format or get the information I had there)
I tried to reinstall JB, fixed nothing.
I quit the Sd Cad and put it back to the phone, fixed nothing.
I reboot the phone with power + sound, fixed nothing.
It never had any trouble before, and after this update, looks like the phone totally toasted the card.
So... any idea about what can I do?...
I assume that thanks to the phone, I will have to spend buying a new one, but at least I'd like to get the information I had there.
Thx

I still can't find that post , can you link to it please.
And do you agree there is a problem with the Xperia T and memory cards.?

On the first page of this thread.
Well it obviously seems like you're several users having the same problem.
A post in the same discussion, get real.
I've already sent my details to Sony.
And I didn't ask if several users are having the same problem,
I asked if you agree there is a problem with the Xperia T.?
What it is clear is that this update to JB looks like a good update, BUT it has A LOT of bugs.
There are LOTS of complainings.... walkman, wifi, battery, bright control, camera and/or album not working well, and lots of SD cards that all the sudden stops working and most of us are not able to get the information out... etc
Would be good to know if Sony is planning to do some update soon fixing all those problems.
I think costumers deserves an explanation and an update as soon as possible.
Hi @Daloch, I'm not sure how you can say the JB update is good with all the problems you have mentioned and the ones I can see on the other topics. I had **NONE** of these problems with my Xperia T using ICS. My phone is away with Sony having the back replaced and if they return it with JB installed (like they did with another user) I will be very cross!!!!
What I tried to say is that JB is a good update for the phone itself.
What is not good is all the issues that it came with, and those issues has to be fixed.
It's because that, that I am asking to know when an update will be released fixing all the issues.
It is true that with IC the phone didn't have much problems (for me, the main issue was the poor quality of the pictures), and now, I have others, plus the pictures.
All I am asking is to know WHEN they will fix the problems with a new update.
Sony probably wont bother now that the Z is about to launch and has been getting rave reviews....
IMO the camera is better since the JB update especially in low light. In fact i was seriously impressed with some shots i took in almost zero light last week. Shame about the walkman app and battery life problems....
I'd love to know who did the beta testing for this update as they couldnt have done much testing!! I know a lot of people were continually asking about the update but id much rather have waited an extra few weeks to get rid of the bugs!
I hv started facing d same issue recently. and sme shopkeeper has tld me my hardware is gone for a toss.but after reading d views of u ppl, i think its d phone causing d problems.am i right?
Yes, you're right.
It's the phone 100%.
Just buy a cheap one (as I did), maybe someday Sony will do their job well done and fix it.
Til the day, it's not worth to buy a expensive one. Very sad, but true.
Sony world...
