Hi there.
I currently have a locally released Xperia ZR with the firmware 10.1.1.A.1.310. I bought it at an Xperia store here in the Philippines and unluckily, I still don't get any updates from Sony for the Jellybean 4.2.2 software. It is kind of frustrating that even the July-released 10.3.1.A.0.224 is still unavailable for our region even though it's October already. I am checking the OTA update and the PC companion everyday to no avail as it says I still have the latest software. I don't know if they haven't released it yet here or if they even have a plan of doing so. I've check my systems info and I can recall that it has an R3 somewhere there (Region 3 maybe?). This is not a carrier-unlocked phone, btw.
So my question is, is it okay to just manually update my phone into the 10.3.1.A.2.67 software? I don't have any plans on rooting my phone and I'll be using the official software. I just want the latest software available for my phone. Will this not compromise anything on the warranty or whatever?
Thanks in advance.

you can get answer from these 2 links
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2315914
&
http://scavenger.ch/sonyupdate/
those will tell you answer if 4.2.2 is out on your device or not
since every device has a customization number
Thank you for the links JakeSully.
Unfortunately, I can't seem to find any Xperia ZR in those links. And I can't check which software is right for me.
Btw, my customization number is 1273-1456_R3A.
Can you shed some more light on this?
Thanks again!
Sorry about that mixed Z with ZR xD well sadly i couldn't find any site where you can check the version for the ZR right now
but keep checking the scavanger link, hopefully one who coded that site will add support to ZR some day
Haha no problem JakeSully. Still, thank you for the help.
Btw, I will be updating my ZR manually to 10.3.1.A.2.67 later when I got home. I've already downloaded everything last night and I'll start ASAP.
I am just contemplating on whether to backup my original firmware or not.

i would recommend backup your original stock as well so when ever you wanna flash back to it if the 67 has problems
I was able to update mine to 10.3.1.A.2.67 and it works fine. However, I haven't backed up my original stock. 😐
