low call volume when using loud speaker

Hi

I am having trouble with the call volume when using the louspeaker.

Seems to only use 1 of the 2 speakers?

I have tweaked the all the setting including the equalizer which has improved the head phone volume but had no effect on the loudspeaker.  When talking normaly the volume is ok but could also be louder

does anyone have any ideas

I know the speaker works as it's really loud when playing games.

Just to let you guys know I managed to get the loudspeaker working.Dont know whether it's a coincidence but I thought I'd kind of rince the phone out in warm water.Did this and it started working.

You lot should think yourself lucky that you get any sound on speaker phone, if item mine on it goes silent, I can't hear a thing! My ringtone is also bearly audible. Really fed up with this problem, missed calls all the time and I cant use speaker phone at all. Sort it out sony, this is ridiculous.

I too am experiencing poor speaker and microphone volume on my Z3 during phone calls when on speaker. Microphone volume is also poor during Skype and Hangouts calls. 

Is there a solution available (other than going back to a Samsung)?

I swear mines recently lower, used to be quite loud but very very low recently.

Mine has gone back to being quiet. It's loud when playing games but not on speaker phone.Did sony ever come back with a solution..

I have recently started having the same issue. Speaker phone worker fine for a few weeks and now it's so quiet I can't use it because I have to hold it to my ear to hear so pointless. This is my second z3 compact as my first one broke 2 weeks after getting it in September. Not a happy first time Sony customer 😞

Got through to customer services, went through a full reset. Which Is lost a lot of data and took a couple of hours.And guess what it's exactly the same.Games YouTube, music is pretty loud.Speaker phone is very quiet.customer services said I need to send the phone back,it will take 5-7 working days.Because it takes a nano sim I cant in my old phone..So pretty peeved off.Going to use the phone for a few months and get a Samsung Is think.

I really hope lollipop sorts it out. Completely useless phone otherwise. How did this not get picked up?

OK, Lollipop updated to the phone. BUT NO IMPROVEMENTS for this problem.. Sad to say. Have to buy proper phone. Roger -- OUT.
