I know that I won't get any answer but I'll ask anyway: considering that HTC and LG already gave up the upgrade to ICS for much powerful models than Xperia U, wouldn't be better off without this upgrade? If ICS will work bad on such low storage and memory model like XU then what would be the point? The fact that ICS upgrade for U is taking so long could be an answer that things aren't very smooth up there.

What you are talking about?

Phone have reserved 2 gb for system partition only+ another 2 gb for data partition.

The ICS update is planned to begin rolling out towards the end of this quarter, currently all ICS roll outs are continuing as planned with no delays. In the mean time, you may receive minor updates to the build number to enhance performance.

Hi Aimee...

We need south Indian Unicode fonts in ICS... plz send our feedback to developers.

Also, in main menu, when i uninstall an app, empty place remains in menu page. Thus, if the number of install/uninstall increases the number of menu pages also increases with many half filled pages.

Note: This happened only when i select Arrange apps in "Own order".

that is a bug I suppose. I saw the exact thing on my friend's live with walkman running ICS... So  this will continue in ICS too.

hi kumar,

i accidentally discovered the solution today.

the 3rd capacitive key is for uninstalling apps when in the menu. if you press it, apps which can be uninstalled will float & have a cross, whereas apps which cannot be uninstalled will only remain floating but no cross. so now if you keep pressed an app you are now able to move it. this will solve the gap problem. regarding why timescape doesnt fill in the gap while installing new applications, i think this is done on purpose so that the user knows where new apps are installed rather than searching where the icon went. i hope you could understand what i meant.

As for myself I actually like the fact that I can arrange things in my own order even after I uninstall something. Just click the right button and let the icons float while you reshift them..:D
