Facebook birthday reminders out by one day

I'm a newbie so please be patient with me...

The birthdays of my Facebook friends that were imported into my Xperia Pro are all one day early.Ii honestly can't recall if it was PC Companion or the FB app that imported all my FB contacts and their information, but the notifications I'm getting on my calendar all show the friend's birthday as being the day before it actually is.

Other than this odd glitch I love the seamless integration with Google Calendar, as much as I love my new phone.

Has anyone else experienced this? Any thoughts as to whether it's a Sony-Ericsson, app developer, Facebook, or user (me issue?

The calendar widget displays the correct day at the top in the blue bar but tomorrows day and agenda in the main white box.

Is this by design or accident? I'd like to look at todays agenda on my homescreen if thats possible?

It's all a day out.

Make sure you have set the correct time, date and time zone. All three must be correct. I have all my birthday's from FB correct in my calendar so I guess you should be able to too.

It's the same in my calendar widget so I don't think there's anything wrong with yours.

I do however agree it's strange.

There are no settings to change this so I suggest you have a look for alternative widgets in Market. Let me know if you find one you like and in return I will forward your post as a request for change. Deal?

You may want to try the free version of Business Calendar in the Market. I find it really useful, intuitive to use and customizable to some extent.

I was facing the same anoying problem and, since I couldnt find any solution, I turned off the calendar sync of the Facebook Inside Xperia (Settings>Sony Ericsson>Facebook Inside Xperia) and manually imported my friends birthday from facebook to google calendar, following these steps:

PS: After syncing the calendar with your phone (Settings>Accounts and Syncing...), you must open the Calendar app > Menu > My calendars, then touch the Friends Birthday calendar to turn it visible.
