how to remove Google search

Hi,
How do you remove or disable the search shortcut in 5.0? The shortcut I refer to is when you swipe up from the bottom of the screen you get Google search. It keeps opening when I am playing temple run, and it's driving me nuts 😄

sadly don't think you can get away with that now, as updates is integrated with What's New (grrrr).

I have found a lovely app which allows you to generate shortcuts for pretty much every process / activity, so I've got one for system/software updates. However, I'm not sure whether software updates (as in under "about phone") are OS updates only or actually includes sony app updates too?

I was talking about What's new quick launch near ok google from home button. That was on 4.4.4. Now,the home button only has ok google. What's new is an app that holds updates for some of the sony apps.
