That seems odd.I suggest you remove the SD card from the phone and see how it goes.

Try to use the phone in safe mode:

Try safe mode for 1-2 days.

good try...did that and while i am blowing on my phone it feels normal, after a few minutes it is warm again. any task killers that i might use for closing specific apps like "media?".

i am so sick of it...if it wasn't so expensive i would've smashed it into the ground already,

Thil heating problem is really annoying everybody....

And it appears to be a random thing, until now... and besides of that, this bug is draining my data plan with play store, but i only make big downloads and updates via wi-fi... I don't know what's happening, but Sony showed that they really don't care about their customers or their reputation.

If this gadget wasn't so expensive, it would be smashed...

@andrei1989 - it looks like the Media Application is certainly behaving abnormally. Have you tried running a repair on the handset:

1. Download the PC Companion software from http://www.sonymobile.com/gb/tools/pc-companion/
and install it on your PC.
2. Install and open PC Companion then select Support Zone.
3. Phone Software Update.
4. Start.
5. Repair Phone
6. Continue
7. Accept data removal
8. Next
9. Wait for prepare
10. Select Phone
11. Follow the connection steps

if you take the time to read other posts on this forum you will find I have posted the fix for this issue

go into settings/accounts/google/Ads and tick the option and disable the option "opt out of interest based ads"

This has cured all my heating - battery drain - charging issues completely
