Hi,

I hope someone can help, this weekend just gone, my phone informed me of Sony updates for the phone.

Being a complete nerd with these things I followed the instructions, downloaded the software, then let the phone shut down whilst installing it.

Since then the phone takes absolutely ages to charge up and the battery useage is terrible. Today after only three calls, all of which were short the phone informed me I had less than ten percent charge left in it. In the last three and a half hours it is till on 68% charged??

Does anyone out there have any ideas please

Normally after a major update your battery may appear eratic - Now the tech bit, This is because it needs to learn how you use your phone to best increase performance and battery performance hence why you are told it can take a few days for the phone to settle down - If you bear with it then it should get better or maybe perform a factory reset or system repair which I would advise as upgrading over another system can and will cause more niggles - For eample upgrading Vista to Win7 or Win7 to Win8 where as clean install you know where you are with it - Hope this helps expalin things
