Headphone problem

Hello everyone. First of all, I did not get a headset with my xperia z1. But when I try to put my own philips oneal headphones on it says that it is not suitable for sony. What is my problem here??

When i go to philips homepage it says that the cabel type is OFC? Dont know if it is thats what you mean?

it has to be either CTIA or OMTP, could you post the model number?

SHO7205BK/10 I think thats the model number? Philips oneill the contruct its called 🙂

That's odd, its compatible with the Xperia S and Acro S, it should be compatible with the Z1, does it work with other phones?

Yes it works fine And it worked fine the first day with my xperia z1, but know it isnt suitable for sony..

Do you have other headphones to test with your Z1?

Ive tried with samsung and iphones to, they doesnt work either.
