Exchange Email problem

New Xperia Z1 phone, Zimbra Exchange Email Account. Emails get downloaded, but no text is shown when opening mails.

It works perfectly on Xperia Z tablet!

iTUXX , you can resolve it using method i described in one of my previous messages. I have Kerio too, and it works ok, just after I installed mentioned apk's.

Thank you Larek, i solved it temporary with configurate IMAP accounts, they will work normal. My contacts & calendar i copied over bluetooth to my phone. But as i config the 3rd IMAP account the mailclient overrieds the 1rst one, without information. My fazit is that the mailclient ist very buggy and for business use totaly unuseable. As i read on the internet, that this problem is known, but sony do nothing to solved it. For such expensive hardware unthinkable. so i will see if one day sony will fixed it, but now i can life with imap (only 2 accounts, but better than nothing)

The problem has been found some months ago, half a year or something... So, I don't think they're going to solve it. I'm thinking about changing my device to something working on windows. At least business functionalities should work well. I don't care gaming etc. And, MS fixes any bugs quickly...

Then give yourself some time to think. Tried WP8 and then changed to Android back. WP8 is a nice system but not finished yet. Maybe 8.1 will improve some things. I missed simple thinks like a week view in calendar.

If you need a more powerful exchange client then use touch down for example. I had no problems at all using touch down. It also supports multiple folders. For example I use different calendar folders or folders for tasks to organize them.

At least buying a more powerful client is much cheaper then buying a new device 😉

I tried touchdown. It has very underdeveloped GUI for me, I don't like it. Byt I can confirm, it works fine with exchange active sync. For now I use Android 4.4 stock (means pure google's code, without any Sony stuff) apks for mail client, activesync and calendar, and it's ok for Android.

Well I was totally furious yesterday when I got Z1 Compact which isn't working with our exchange server (ZPUSH).

Sync is very slow, but I eventually get my emails / contacts / calendars. Problem is I can't read any of my emails since they are all empty and loading forever.

Sony Xperia Z1 Compact, 4.3, ZPUSH 2.1.1.

I'll try to upgrade company server ZPUSH to 2.1.2. beta as someone suggested.

If that doesn't work, I'll just factory reset it, return it to network operator and change it for HTC One.

We have at least 10 of those in our company and I'm sure they are working fine with email server.

I updated ZPUSH on server with 2.1.2. BETA and it's working for now.

We use Groupwise 12.  Works with exchange sync on all devices in the company, iphones android, etc etc

I got my new Z1 Compact yesterday.  Synds the sent items folder.  Shows there are 15 mails in inbox, but you cant see them.  Seems an issue with the phone, may need to return it. 

Suddenly remembered why I stoppped buying Sony products 8 years ago.  They are **bleep** at after sales support.

It's sad to hear that. Mine (z ultra c6833) and my friend's have the same problems. We are using with datasync of groupwise 2012. My temporary solution is looking at the email subject in email notification and search it in activesync mailbox and slice to read the next/previous email.

Hi I have same problem. Although we changed PROVISION_MAX_EMAIL_HTML_BODY_TRUNCATION_SIZE     parameters to unlimited The problem is same. Email program freezes and somes mails open empty. I cannot see mail content
