How fast is your quick launch mode on your xperia p? (from sleep to capture)

Mine takes 3 to 5 sec before it captures a photo. Tried reparing with pc companion

but nothing happened.

And it has been 2 weeks since i got my xperia p but the bottom cap

Of my XP is a bit loose on the right side. I can hear it creak. I dont put

My phone in my pocket. Nor taking the cap off. I always have a case for

My phone. I dont know how that happened since the other side of the cap

Is not loose nor creaking. I dont know what to do. It's annoying.

Sometimes when i play a game or open an app it crashes.

i went to Sony Center this afternoon, I showed my phone to them and told them that my cap creaks and loose. They checked it out. BUT they told me that it was normal since the cap is removable. i told them that i had my Xperia P a month ago and had it case protected since day one. I ask if i can have my cap replaced. they told me they will not replace my cap, and i even ask if i where can i buy a replacement cap, they told me they don't have replacement cap.

I was disappointed, i feel like i wasted my money buying this phone.

if it's any consolation, try out rufusj89's solution, you know, put a little piece of paper on the right side, it will be good as new, worked for me..

worked for me also, thanks to rufusj. i don't know why they dont replace the cap.

It takes around a second to two to fast capture in my S. Your taking more time.

Go to your local service centre.

does taking in low light situation affect the fast capture in your xperia S?

no it doesnt effect in any way.

Mine takes picture slower in low light situation, it adjusts the focus before it clicks.

Am facing the same problem too... I bought it with so much of interest now its annoying wen the bottom cap is creaking. Can u pls tel me how did u fix dis problem exactly??!! Ur help is apprecialted.
