Hello,
How fast is your quick launch mode on your xperia p? (from sleep to capture)
Mine takes 3 to 5 sec before it captures a photo. Tried reparing with pc companion
but nothing happened.
And it has been 2 weeks since i got my xperia p but the bottom cap
Of my XP is a bit loose on the right side. I can hear it creak. I dont put
My phone in my pocket. Nor taking the cap off. I always have a case for
My phone. I dont know how that happened since the other side of the cap
Is not loose nor creaking. I dont know what to do. It's annoying.
Sometimes when i play a game or open an app it crashes.
I just noticed something when i'm inspecting my phone,
the bottom cap is not exactly the same length as the phone, i don't know how to explain but
when i ran my finger on the side of my phone to the bottom cap i can feel that the right side of the cap is not aligned with the phone's transparent band. the cap is longer. whereas the left side of the cap, when you ran your finger on it, it is straight.
^Here is the left side of the cap, it is not lnger than the transparent band.
^ this is the right side of the cap where it creaks and is loose. yo can see that it is longer than the transparent band.
^here's another picture.
i don't know if that is the cause of it, but i just want to show you this.
i hope someone from sony can reply here.
Interesting to note that, from day-1 I've used the Leather flip-case, where the Main gripper is exactly over the point of phone merge into the bottom Bar - so there is no possible move or contact with that area... I've not experienced the problem described.
it's not going to be a perfect fit
So all of the Xperia P is like that? I mean the bottom cap doesn't fit perfectly?:smileyconfused:
Im confused because i rarely use my phone, since i go to school and not able to play with it, sometimes i leave it at home, sometimes in my bag. i use it for texting and sometimes gaming. So i don't know why my bottom cap begins to creak and loose. Is that normal for xperia p to have loose bottom cap? i mean from time to time, in the future all xperia p will have loose cap?
is there any way to fix this? or can i have it fix at sony centers for free? since my phone is still on warranty.
I suggest that you contact your local support team to see if you can have it examined at a local repair center.

Hello can i email my local support team?
Hi Ryan,
I do have the same problem. The bottom cap on the right side is a bit loose. I am now handling my phone very carefully. Since you never know when it will break.
