XPERIA SL pc suite

i just got my XPERIA SL few days back...

i want to know "how can i use my phone as a modem???"

using pc companion i found that no option is present about connecting to internet through usb...

so someone clarify me how to get a working pc suite(one by sony ericsson is not detecting my phone)

or how to connect my pc to internet through my mobile...

ps: i tried usb tethering, but was not successful, so mention steps for that too...

well that's the way I use but...I want to know about usb way or pc suite.... I heard about mtp but it's missing in my settings.... any help???

plus without laptop how useful will hotspot be for pc???

PC Suite is long gone, there's only PC Companion (PCC) and Sony Update Service (SUS)

if you want to control your phone from your PC use My Phone Explorer.

i think my phone doesnt has mtp mode... i tried factory reset too... any help on this????
