How fast is your quick launch mode on your xperia p? (from sleep to capture)

Mine takes 3 to 5 sec before it captures a photo. Tried reparing with pc companion

but nothing happened.

And it has been 2 weeks since i got my xperia p but the bottom cap

Of my XP is a bit loose on the right side. I can hear it creak. I dont put

My phone in my pocket. Nor taking the cap off. I always have a case for

My phone. I dont know how that happened since the other side of the cap

Is not loose nor creaking. I dont know what to do. It's annoying.

Sometimes when i play a game or open an app it crashes.

Hi Ryan

I have not gone to the service center yet. Service in India is very bad. I try as much as to avoid them. Besides its not creating that much of problem. I will go to the service center if it gets more worse.

oh okay, i'll try to go to sony service center next week.

but im not sure if they will replace the cap,

they would likely tell me it is normal because of wear and tear.

i have research about xperia NXT series, and i read about xperia s' removable bottom base,

so today i borrowed my girlfriend's Xperia S. To check if the Bottom cap of NXT phones doesn't perfectly fit. I was surprised because the bottom cap of the Xperia S fits perfectly, the right side of the base cap is not bigger than transparent band, and also the left side. The bottom base fits perfectly.

And i saw the 360 degree camera view of the xperia P on GSMarena. It looks like the bottom base cap fits perfectly.

yea der r .. quite many.. but d service is pathetic.. m usin sony frm lst 6 yerz.. luv der products.. but i h8 d service dey give out here.. atleast 1 mnth it takes fr minor issues like key pad replcmnt n all stufs.

I am also facing this issue in my silver body. It has been 3 weeks since i bought it and suddenly since last 2-3 days the bottom cap creaks on the right side. Is it changeable or fixed because if fixed than i need to care more to avoid breakage. What's the solution for that?

I thought that is normal, because here  it takes 1 to 2 months to get a phone fix. Im from the philippines.

Last time we went to sonyEricsson center to have my girlfriend's xperia x10 fixed. We waited for more than a month we go back there oftenly and they told us it hasn't been fixed yet. And then s.e. Called us to tell us tgat my gf's phone is fixed. When went there the phone was fixed. But I saw a metal thing blocking the camera so we put it back for repair.

Try to contact your local sony service center and ask for a replacement cap.

Tell me if they replaced yours. Since, here they told me that it is normal wear and tear. I will try to contact our sony service center here.
