Bluetooth Problems ARC S Android 4

Hello,

after the Update to Android 4 I can not pair my Arc s with Toyota Avensis Bluetooth (2010). With the old Android 2.3.4 everything works fine. After searching the Toyota Bluetooth Kit and I try to Connect I get a message "FAILURE" from the Toyota Bluetooth Kit. I try to repair the Phone with Companion but the problem is still the same. I can not connect the Arc S with the Bluetoot Kit.

Sony Support doesn't know the Problem. Has anybody these Bluetooth isue too? Does anybody know how I can solve the Problem?

Thanks for your Help

i have a ford fiesta titanium 2010 model.

due to my x10 was in warranty and broke down ,sony gave me an xperia arc....but i cannot pair with my car by bluetooth .... the pop up window to enter the pin code the car gives me never appears on the phone...android version is 4.0.4 with kernel 2.6.32.9-perf builduser.

i dont know my ford car audio bluetooth type but it pairs with any other phone i tried to....i tried all the tricks listed above to make the pairing but nothing works.i dont know if this is problem of android 4 or of arc or anything else the point is that my car recognize the phone ,tell me to put the code and the phone is not responding by giving me the pin code screen

sony you have to ckeck this out....so difficult for you to fix it and update a patch??????

This is how I did it.

1. Create a contact called bluetooth.

2. Turn on ignition.

3. With my phone, went to contacts, clicked on bluetooth contact, send contact via bluetooth.

4. Found Ford Audio, clicked and the code function popped up on my phone.

Hope this works for you...

Also try updating the car's bluetooth software. There are instructions on the ford website.
