Recently updated to 5.1.1but now battery won't charge from usual charger or from computer USB. It will only charge from my tablet charger, any ideas?

Micro USB cable into phone USB into charger. Also the computer doesn't detect if the phone is connected to it either

Is the cable loose when you connect it to the phone? (does it wobble)

Welcome to the community.

I would suggest checking to see if these issues are coming from the hardware of the handset. We have a build in feature called Xperia Diagnostics to help with this.

Go to Settings > About phone > Diagnostics.
Tap Test device.
Select the tests for the charging
Follow the on-screen instructions.

Could you let us know what the results of that are?

I tried the diagnostic test but it doesn't recognise the original chargers as being connected. I know the cables and chargers are OK because I plug them in to my last phone and it starts charging straight away. This has only started since I installed an update last week
