Battery charging

Recently updated to 5.1.1but now battery won't charge from usual charger or from computer USB. It will only charge from my tablet charger, any ideas?

which Xperia do you have? which chargers are you testing?

I have the Xperia z3 compact and I'm trying 2 original Sony chargers that came with this phone and my last one both chargers work on the old phone and if o use the charger for my Samsung tablet it works

test different cables and report back.

I have 2 cables tried them both they work on my old phone but not this one, if I use them with the Samsung charger they work

This is rather odd, does the cable fits tight or is it a bit loose on your Xperia?

Fits tight I use the same cable on the other charger a nd it's fine. I'm thinking that the tablet charger has a higher output and that's why that one works

Just to be certain, are those the chargers that came with the phone?

Yes one came with this phone and the other came with my last Xperia z3
