I found that the top edge (esp. top right hand corner) of the screen is not really "senseable". I need to press a little bit harder then other part of the screen in order to get the response.
I tried with both my glass protector off or on (apparently I have to get a new one after I took one off)
Should I just go to the Sony store and ask for maintenance?
Just wanted to throw this out here, as I see a lot of people have had this problem:
My XA Ultra just took a hit today and does ALL the things your phones have—screen doesn't respond, taps things by itself, won't unlock, etc...
My memory card corrupted minutes before this occured, and was able to be formatted by my computer (meaning the memory card itself didn't fail causing the corruption, which I have had happen before)
I'm using a 128GB Lexar 633x card
My phone will not respond AT ALL. I'm guessing I'll need to send it into Sony for a new screen?
Hopefully Sony repairs user's devices rather than replacing them, as I've taken really good care of mine and don't really want a replacement phone of someone else's that Sony or a third party has "fixed" and put new casings on.
I have had no issues with the phone's screen not responding from August to this day.
Let me know if you guys have found a non-Sony repair center fix for this issue.

i am facing difficulties in dropping down the notification bar in XA dual. many times ( for me almost 90%) I just end up 'search application' when I swipe with any of my fingers. It is very annoying especially when device is on the table and i want to work with it , completely astounding dizzy touch of top of the device and can't dropping down the notification bar
for accessing better touch and protecting screen i crop UC screen cover of Galaxy S6 & put it on Xperia XA . better touch than Glass protectors and full coverage of whole screen and curves . image below :
but i have to say totally , touch of top section of the screen is not good when device is on the desk or any Horizontal situation for accessing status bar and i hope Sony will fix it in future update if its not a hardware problem.
There isn't 3D glass or UC screen protecot for XA itself here in Iran (totally weak availability of accessories & Xperia devices, weak support ) , So i did this and i think it looks good

this problem mentioned by many XA users , what should we do ? any recall by Sony ? has it a hardware touch problem in this series ? very annoying problem , worst than battery drain
