Xperia XA - Touch screen issue

I found that the top edge (esp. top right hand corner) of the screen is not really "senseable".  I need to press a little bit harder then other part of the screen in order to get the response.

I tried with both my glass protector off or on (apparently I have to get a new one after I took one off)

Should I just go to the Sony store and ask for maintenance?

Settings > about phone > diagnostics > test > test touchscreen, also test the phone in >>> safe mode, if that doesn't work, repair the phone with XC and report back, if the phone has a protective case, film and/or glass, remove it and test it again.

I have the same issue. There's a dead spot on the right top of the screen of my XA, doesn't register anything at all. It's so sad how Sony disregards this issue. Hitting menu button or sliding down to access the notification center becomes an annoying task sometimes. Luckily I don't have any problems other than that area so typing is fine.

Hi everyone it has been a long time that i didnt update with u guy. Finally i didn't bring the phone to the local service center as finally i didn't have time to go there anymore.

Finally i sold tge XA out and got a new phone now. O have made decision to get the Nextbit Robin phone and quite amaze with my better daily life.

*no more screen issue
Work fine with no bug at all

*no more storage issue
My old XA is a kind of disaster when it comes to storage. I am sure u guys know it well.

**Finally i can watch and listen to youtube with atleast 60-80% louder sound***
I am sure again that all u guys might have noticed this too. I think only @Aidylucas is enjoying the loud and nice sound from the XA

*no more typing issue due to the nonresposove screen
Yes, my friend who bought XA at the same time as me and have this exact problem still go on being patient with this. Goodluck for him.

*better battery life
My Nextbit doesnt have that great battery life but at least i dont need anymore to carry my portable charging unit.

*better cpu speed
Sure!!

I don't know how could i be patient with the XA for months especially the phone volume when watching youtube and the screen problem and so on.... Etc.

For Sony, i think it is good only the flagship model.

@roadrunny76

After XA i used Iphone SE for few weeks and found that i was not familiar with IOS anymore. Then i switched to Android again (but not XA for sure). I am not saying Sony is bad but XA seems to have lots of problems which i have never experienced in an android phone before. A kind of not compatible for my daily usage.

Good luckk mate

XA is the only dissapointment from Sony in the past 10 years of Sony phones. I was thinking of upgrading to XZ, but this time I will wait a couple of months to see reviews before I will decide.
