Xperia XA Camera problem

Hi. Im using Xpeia XA Dual (F3116)

After few month using this phone (Since official launch) , i've encounter some problem about the camera.

1. The camera display always turn upside down and has front facing mode only (No appear icon to switch from front to rear camera).

2. Sometimes i cannot open camera application and display error message like this.

"the camera may be in use by another application........" 

but i already closed all apps and it still remain error.

3. Overheat when use the camera. When i take few photos, the phone's back become warm and then hot. Is this related to 1st and 2nd problem?

Can anyone solve this problem...?

How long did it take for your camera to start functioning properly again??

It's two months since my cam stopped working!

Sony is One of the worst mobile company I ever had seen..

Don't buy sony mobile, features are very poor. Cameras quality is null.. price are high.. no any customer support..

Buy purchasing this phone, I feel I am trapped.... 

Chinese phone with 5000 ranges are much better then sony handest.   

This is the reason fews are using purchasing them.. one they will purchase they will never reffer any of there known people to buy this company phones..

Battery backup null

Sound is null

Price are hight

No customer support

Resale value is 50% after purchasing of 2nd day.

I am having the same / similar issue as the other posts.  My camera was working fine but it no longer focuses on anything over 5 feet away.  If I try to take a scenary picture, everything is blurry.  I have tried doing manuel focus but even at the furthest setting, it will only bring things that are 5 feet away into focus.  I am not sure if the latest update changed the settings on the camera or if it is a hardware issue.  I have tried changing the settings on both the manuel camera app and the automatic camera app; but no luck.  Is there any other trouble shooting steps I can do?

Hi I have the same problem but unfortunately I can't help fix the problem but u can download a cam app for the back cam depending if ur front cam is gone hope it helps

Hi, I have this problem now. Camera isn't great looks it has fog or smoke. Any solution?

My camera also couldn't focus at all because back lens cover was scratched up and the image afting taking picture was very blurry all the time and I found this technique on internet and tried it myself. I really didn't believe it will gonna help but it actually did there is not even a single little scratch on my camera lens cover. Pictures are again very crisp and clear ant it focuses really fast especially when recording video.  Use a little bit of cotton wool and apply toothpaste on camera lens covering (plastic) and watch this video if u want to try this on your own: https://youtu.be/86kIuZpgz68

I'm glad I was able to help you. If you want better results you should wipe capera lens slowly clockwise for about 15-20 minutes. It gets so  clear that you would think its a brand new lens cover.
