None software received with my new VAIO???!

I got brand new VAIO VGN-S3HP from local store...On my suprise when I opened the box I didn't find not a single CD in there, no windows XP or any other installed software. Is this just me or? Can someone tell me what's the deal here?? What should I do when I need to re-format HDD? I had 2 Dell laptops before sony and software was always included with the laptop.

Can someone tell me is this normall or someone took software from my box?!

No need to panic, when you start the machine up it'll ask you to make some DVDs or 10+ CDs.

It's normal (wrong in my opinion, DVDs cost pennies for companies to make!)

LOL, As I bought my VAIO, I got only one DVD. Now I would need two.

har when i first bought my old vaio its supplied me with 2 CDs.. but now i had to supplied 7 CD-R for my new vaio :smileygrin:
