Be careful with WMPlayer and SS 2.3

If you are listening to a MP3 with Windows Media Player and you try to transfer it with SS 2.3, you get an error. Unable to tranfer.

But the MP3 is erased!!!

And lost forever......................

Are you sure its completely erased?i got similar probs with other programms in the past but i performed a search on the hard drive and found the files in other folders[such as "recently used" or whatever]

if it is true then we should be more careful with programm conflicts...

Yes. It was happening sometimes and that freaked me out.
Finally I realized and did some tests and that's it.
The mp3 is lost forever more...

i dont understand why that should happen but i guess it doesnt matter that much as your mp3s are gone.
all we can do is just be more careful from now on.

do you happen to have the norton antivirus installed on your pc?

i use norton and its got a service that shows your bin as "norton protected bin".

if you double click, the recycle bin will not open, but another program called unerase wizard.
this shows you the last 25 files that have deleted completely from your pc,allowing you to restore them in time before they get completely lost.

hope this helps in any way,not sure if mcafee has that.
