Hi ,

Tried using the Update Service (SEUS) and was able to reload the firmware back and wiped the SD card and the  onboard memory and reloaded the firmware .62 build it looks ok now ,

Will observer and let you know if the issue persistsOne question .

One question can a simcard cause thedevice to go into no boot mode.

its an old sim card from airtel that I have got in india about 6 years back and i have been using the same ever since.

During initial use of the phone netrtok i.e.( carrier)  was not getting detected by my old sim card but was getting detected when I used a newer sim card  ,Please suggest if I need to use a newer sim card from the carrier as this is a 3G phone.

I am not using 3 G but a 2g gprs network as of now.

Thnaks in advance.

how is that possible? SEUS doesn't format SD cards

Not applicable

I reloaded the firmware and then wiped SD card and then restored to factory default.

I am was using GDE as alternate home launcher always could that be possible culprit in making the android to become unstable or no boot.

Also if i check the status of the boot loader it says unlocked yes.Should I lock the boot laoder back with flash tool?

Thanks in advance.

I would relock the bootloader then repair it with either flashtool or SEUS

This is how to relock your bootloader

I Found this aticle over the intenet about the TRIM AREA (TA)

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1252019

Could that be the issue with teh Trim area on my arc s.

Its becomming very frustation to keep reloading and test all the time.

I was runnin on stock kernel and firrmware .62 version with no root or any modding and very minimal usage of the phone just for texting phone and very little internet .

He is a logs I got from Flash tool when relocked the boot loader if this may help.

are you trying to root using Flashtool? don't just flash the firmware, debug off and try again Slightly_smiling_Face

Hi Uliwooly ,

Here is what happened i was using gprs and using browsing internet via opera mini browser and it just went off and did not boot back.tried to power off and power on still the same.

had to reload the firmware using the SEUS from sony ericsson.last time I used the same way to reload the firmware it ran for 20 days and then this happened.I did not try to root using the flash tool.

After reloading the firmware  i tried to follow the link how to reloack boot loader using the flash tool.

Thats all its runnning ok now.

But not sure when this would occur.

Just need to know how to correct the recourring issue.

Thank you

that's odd, there was probably a bug there I hope its gone now that you relocked your bootloader and repaired it with SEUS, which apps were they? any antivirus?  battery/juice defender? taskiller?
