Phone not starting after installing ROM?

So I was trying to install a ROM (Froyo 2.2 (first MiniCM6 then XperiGinger V4)) (from 2.1) to my Xperia today and after it installed -"correctly"-, everytime I start the phone it doesnt go more than the "Sony Ericsson" logo. It just stays at the frozen image. I fixed it once with PC Companion, executing the repair tool but then the error came back and now even tho Im trying to repair it again, PC Companion (and SEUS) show a sign that "my device is fully actualized and there's no new software to upgrade to", meaning I cant fix it anymore (like if it could only be fixed once).

Any help? All I can do is enter to xRecovery.

PS: I already did a factory reset (wipe data) and a restore. Nothing worked.

Yes but the videos are showing me how to install a ROM, and in Xperia X10, first of I just want my old 2.1 version not a ROM and I dont even know if it is compatible with Xperia X8.

Sorry if im confusing you, as you might see, im a total unbrained u.u

no, the video is how to use flashtool, and it's not a custom ROM it's sony's udpate
