New Sola doesn't turn on or charge

I got Sony Sola one week ago. It didn't turn on after I shut it down my self because the mobile data connection was not working properly (Battery was about 20% that time) so I thought it needs charging, but for two days till now it doesn't want to be charged and only gives red  flash (for the notification lLED) for a second when connected to a charger or when the power button is pressed while connected to charger. If the power button is pressed while it is not connected to the power. It doesn't give any response. It looks like it has no power but not able to charge. As placing it for hours on charge keeps it cold and has no effect. No resetting too using the power + volume up buttons.

I am on a vacation and can't access the service center, is this a software or hardware problem. Is there a hard reset option through key combinations or memory card boot? And does anyone faced such a problem? Slightly_frowning_Face

The service center offered me a replacement as I am still on the first 14 days of trial ( in which you can refund or replace by law in Egypt). However I got an Xperia S and paid the difference.

The reason they offered a replacement was that the device has a hardware defect in which cannot be repaird.

Have you tried an alternative charging method such as another charger cable? or trying to charge the device via a PC on USB?

Yes all of these suggestions failed to wake it up. Today it even stopped flashing the LED, so the phone now is completely dead; it doesn't give any response even when connected to charger/cable or pressing any buttons.

A few days ago, I bought my Xperia Sola. I shut it down for the night, but it doesn't want to turn on this morning. I've tried to charge it over an hour, but nothing seems to happen. I also tried to force a turn on by pressing the on/off button and volume up button. But still no result. Can anyone please help me with this?!
